fashion magazines and the surge of the internet, keep increasing the total amount of work opportunities for make up.

As a certified makeup artist, you can work all over the world.

Your every day work may consist of creating characters for e.g. film and music videos.

It may also consist of realizing your clients’ vision - artistically as well as technically - for fashion spreads or advertising campaigns.

You will work with all kinds of people – models, celebrities, and, of course, “normal” people.

Excellent social skills are therefore of the essence. You must be a team player; flexible and adaptable to new situations.

Many believe that this profession is all about glamour.

Naturally, it’s wonderful to see the result of your hard work on a model on the cover of a magazine, or your name rolling by in the credits of a movie.

But behind it lies a lot of hard work and sometimes long working hours.

PMA101 - PRODUCTION MAKEUP ARTISTRY - 400 credit hours

This is our most complete course yet. Includes all the classes in our "Professional Makeup Artistry" + “Multi-Media Makeup Artistry” + Commercial Makeup Artistry” + “Advanced FX/Airbrushing & Tanning Makeup Artistry”.

This class is designed for people interested in pursuing a career in film, TV, theater & production; it will give you the necessary knowledge to make it into such a demanding industry as big Hollywood productions, TV & theater. This will provide you with the knowledge required to be a member of the I.A.T.S.E. Local 500 union.

PMA201 - PROFESSIONAL MAKEUP ARTISTRY - 200 credit hours

This is our most popular class. It will help build a strong foundation in the basic skills of makeup artistry required to work as a professional makeup artist. This helps develop and refine skills, expand knowledge and confidence for students to begin working as professional makeup artists. Students will begin studying from the fundamentals of makeup including skin care, bridal, fantasy, era makeup, runway & basic FX.

MMA301 - MULTI-MEDIA MAKEUP ARTISTRY - 100 credit hours

This is a basic course in fashion, editorial, photography and runway makeup.

This course is designed for beginners and for makeup artists. It will give you the latest techniques & skills of the European & American Beauty industry and most important, this course includes MUS makeup & brush kit products and a professional photo shoot and CD.

CMA401 - COMMERCIAL MAKEUP ARTISTRY - 50 credit hours

Our most affordable course. This class builds the necessary foundation in the basic skills of makeup artistry required to work as an everyday makeup artist. The class includes short lectures/theory and demonstration followed by hands-on application. Specially designed for people on the GO. It will give you the important factors to learn before taking one of our advanced courses. Recommended for beginners and artists who have worked behind a makeup counter without any makeup training.

FMA501 - ADVANCED FX – 40 credit hours

This course is designed to equip the student with advanced skills to work in a special make-up effects laboratory. Students will learn techniques in cuts, bruises, burns, design and create extreme multi-piece character makeup, using advanced casting, molding and application techniques. Blood delivery methods are taught, as well as bald cap and old age. Students will learn and utilize cutting edge technologies in the field of special make-up effects.

AMA601 - ADVANCED AIRBRUSHING – 16 credit hours
This unique technique is designed for digital photography and HDTV.

This is an excellent complement for people that wish to specialize in print work, fashion, and bridal makeup. With this application method you will be able to provide a smooth & silky texture in a matter of seconds. This class covers tanning, eye makeup, blush, and lips.
This class also includes a makeup compressor with 8 shade basic makeup kit & a professional photo shoot with CD.

BMU101 - FUNDAMENTAL MAKEUP - 70 clock hours

This class builds a strong foundation in the basic skills of makeup artistry required to work in retail, film, television, and production. The class includes theory and demonstration followed by hands-on application. This helps develop and refine skills, expand knowledge and confidence for students to begin working as professional makeup artists. Student will study skin care, day and evening makeup on all skin types and colors, corrective techniques including eyes lips and contouring, product care, color and lighting.

BMU201 - HIGH FASHION MAKEUP - 40 clock hours

This course is an introduction to makeup for print work, runway, and music video production. Students will study beauty and glamour makeup, fashion show makeup, trend makeup and history. Students will study beauty and glamour makeup, fashion show makeup, trend makeup and history.

BMU301 – FILM & TELEVISION MAKEUP - 40 clock hours

This course teaches the fundamental skills necessary to work in television and film. Students will study TV makeup, black and white photo makeup and color photo makeup.

BMU401 – SPECIAL MAKEUP - 45 clock hours

This course teaches all types of special makeups including stage, eyelash and brow coloring, hair styling, drag makeup, camouflage and look a like makeup.

BMU501 - MARKETING YOURSELF - 5 clock hours

A thorough critique of each individual's makeup skills and career goals prepares each student to enter the job market as a professional makeup artist. The business side of makeup artistry is covered.

BMUFREE - CUSTOM MADE CLASSES - 10 to 40 hours

BWS101 - BASIC & FUNDAMENTAL MAKEUP - 3 hours

For beginners to advanced, also recommended for hair stylists who want to learn basic makeup. This is a basic workshop to help develop and refine skills, expand knowledge and confidence.

BWS101 A – PARTY & NIGHTTIME MAKEUP – 5 hours

You will learn how to apply fun, glamorous and fierce night makeup looks. Modern smoky eyes in different tones, metallic, shimmery, glitter, perfect false lashes, PROM MAKEUP, etc.

BWS101 B – NATURAL FRESH LOOK –5 hours

We will teach you fresh daily makeup, tips to look young dewy and natural, polished, business meetings, day time events, in warm or cool tones and a combination of them for different skin tones. Apply individual lashes. Could be used for commercial makeup.

BWS101 C – CELEBRITY LOOK A LIKE – 4 hours

Is a dynamic fun class, we will perform replicas from celebrity looks you will pick from magazines (actresses, commercials, models, etc) You will practice different techniques, trends, color combination and more!

BWS201 - FUN & FANTASY - 4 hours or 7 hours

* 1 Day - Makeup Techniques - 4 hours

This is for your creativity, if you feel comfortable with makeup and want to learn to be creative; this is the workshop for you. Be creative and work with the top makeup instructors in the industry as they demo a look and you create your own. Work with feathers, sequins, sparkle cosmetics and much more.

* 2 Day - Photoshoot - 2 hours - OPTIONAL

These will be used on the second day as you create on your model or student partner, and get your work shot DIGITALLY by a PRO PHOTOGRAPHER. Start your experimental techniques portfolio.

BWS301 - BRIDAL MAKEUP - 4 hours

Step makeup application techniques that will leave every bride flawless and camera ready.

•How to choose correct makeup shades and color selection for your Bride

•How to choose correct foundation shades for any skin tone & multi-ethnic skin

•Color theory as it relates to choosing foundation shades & for multiethnic skin tones. Flawless camouflage priming application for long lasting all day makeup wear

•What is the bridal business? Proven marketing techniques that will increase your bridal clients and revenue in your salon or make-up business

•The bridal contract: safeguard methods of ensuring payment

•The bridal consultation, booking and pricing: learn how to confidently close every bride and make every bridal appointment a yes sale!
